Crawford Instruments

I have compiled a selection of photo's from some of my past instruments.

These photo's represent images from selecting wood to the making of inlay for the purfling. I have here both Baroque and Modern instruments that I have made in the past.

All my instruments are made from the very best in alpine spruce and european maple which is mostly coming from Romania, Hungary and Bosnia.

Even the smallest details are not over looked in the making process from the stamped label to the feel and texture of the finished instrument with a fine oil varnish.

All of this is done with the aim of making an excellent sounding, beautiful instrument that's a pleasure for the musician to play.
